Order of documents
The Course sales page, checkout page, purchase-confirmation email, these Terms, our Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy together form the agreement between you and us.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and the specific Course package, price, access period, or features confirmed to you at checkout or in your purchase-confirmation email, the checkout confirmation or purchase-confirmation email will take priority in relation to that specific matter.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a Course or create an account.
If we permit access by a person under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase, accept these Terms on that person’s behalf, and remain responsible for appropriate supervision and safe participation.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You must keep this information up to date.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
- Keeping your password secure.
- All activity that takes place under your account.
- Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
You must not share your account or login details with any other person. Each account is for the use of the individual purchaser only, unless we expressly authorise a different arrangement in writing.
We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe login details have been shared, an account has been compromised, or these Terms have been breached.
2. Course access
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, your Course access begins when we confirm your purchase and continues for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless ended earlier in accordance with these Terms.
Your exact access end date will be stated in your purchase-confirmation email.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the Course Content for your own private study only. This licence does not transfer ownership of any Course Content to you.
We will use reasonable care and skill to make the Course Platform available during your access period. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, including where downtime is reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, updates, or matters outside our reasonable control.
Where reasonably practicable, we will seek to minimise disruption and restore access within a reasonable time.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT or other applicable taxes where stated.
You must pay the full price for the Course at the point of purchase, unless we expressly offer a payment plan or subscription.
We accept payment through the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your full card details on our own systems.
Your purchase is not confirmed until we receive cleared payment and send you a purchase-confirmation email.
We may change the price of a Course before you purchase it. Any price change will not affect a purchase already confirmed.
4. Subscriptions and automatic renewal
This section applies only where you purchase a Membership or other recurring-access product.
If your purchase includes a subscription or Membership, you agree that it will renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
The renewal price, billing frequency, and next renewal date will be shown at checkout and, where applicable, in your purchase-confirmation email or account area.
You may cancel a Membership at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected].
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel before the renewal date. If you cancel after a renewal payment has been taken, the cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current billing period, unless we agree otherwise or you have a legal right to a refund.
We may change the price of a Membership before a renewal date. Where required by law, we will give reasonable notice of any price change and explain how you can cancel before the change takes effect.
5. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may:
- Retry the payment.
- Suspend access to the Course, Membership, or Course Platform until payment is received.
- Contact you using the email address associated with your account.
- Terminate access where payment remains outstanding after reasonable notice.
Where a payment plan or subscription remains outstanding, we may withhold access to Course Content, Live Services, assessments, certificates, or renewal of certification until the outstanding amount is paid.
This does not affect any legal rights or remedies available to you.
6. Cancellation rights and immediate access
If you are a Consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after entering into the contract, unless an exception applies.
Where you expressly request immediate access to Digital Course Content before the end of that 14-day period and acknowledge that you will lose your cancellation right once supply begins, you will lose that right when supply of the Digital Course Content begins.
Where the Course includes Live Services, you may ask us to begin providing those services during the cancellation period. Where you do so, and then cancel within that period, you may be required to pay for the proportion of Live Services supplied up to the date of cancellation, where permitted by law.
Where Live Services are fully performed during the cancellation period after you have expressly requested that they begin and acknowledged that you will lose your cancellation right once the services are fully performed, you will lose the cancellation right in relation to those fully performed Live Services.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have where Digital Course Content is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not meet the applicable legal standard.
How to cancel
To exercise any applicable cancellation right, you must notify us by a clear statement—for example, by email to [email protected]—before the cancellation period ends.
You may use the model cancellation form below, but you are not required to do so.

We may reduce a refund to reflect the value of Live Services already supplied, where permitted by law.

- You have failed to complete a Course within your access period.
- You did not use your Course access or attend Live Services.
- You purchased the wrong Course but the Course Content supplied was as described and access has been provided.
- You have breached these Terms and access has been suspended or terminated.
- You have failed to meet the requirements for an assessment, certification, or retake.
- You have requested a refund after a certificate has been issued, where the Course and assessment have been completed.
- A refund would be unlawful or would conflict with applicable consumer-protection law.
Faulty or misrepresented Course Content
You may be entitled to a remedy if Digital Course Content is faulty, not as described, not fit for a purpose made known to us before purchase, not of satisfactory quality, or otherwise not in conformity with applicable legal standards.
In those circumstances, contact us at [email protected] with your name, purchase email, Course name, order reference, a clear description of the issue, and any supporting information.
Depending on the issue and applicable law, we may offer a repair, replacement, price reduction, partial refund, or full refund.
Membership renewals
If you cancel a Membership after a renewal payment has been taken, cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current billing period.
We may provide a refund for a renewal payment where required by law, where we agree it is fair in the circumstances, or where the renewal was taken in error.
Assessment and certification fees
Assessment, certification, and retake fees are non-refundable once the assessment has begun, been completed, or a certificate has been issued, except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing.
If you cancel an assessment before it begins, we may offer a refund or transfer to a later assessment date, subject to the terms shown at checkout.

All intellectual property rights in the Course Content are owned by Spartan Education Services Ltd or our licensors.

Nothing in these Terms permits you to share, publicly demonstrate, reproduce, distribute, teach, or use Course Content for instruction without our prior written permission and, where applicable, a current valid instructor certification issued directly by Spartans KM International.
You must not represent that you are authorised, endorsed, accredited, or certified by Spartans KM International / Spartans EDU unless we have expressly confirmed this in writing.

- We reasonably believe that issuing or continuing certification would be unlawful, unsafe, or likely to mislead the public, or that you have engaged in serious conduct materially inconsistent with the safety, professional-integrity, or certification standards communicated to you.
Except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, or legal reasons, we will tell you the reason for the proposed action and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond.
Where a certificate is revoked, we may withdraw access to certification materials, remove certification status, and require you to stop representing yourself as certified by Spartans KM International / Spartans EDU.
12. Changes to the Course
We may update the Course to reflect legal, regulatory, security, technical, or operational requirements, or to improve its content.
We will not materially reduce the core content or functionality you paid for unless reasonably necessary because of legal, regulatory, security, technical, or operational requirements, or because equivalent or improved replacement content is provided.
Where a change is likely to materially and adversely affect your access to, or use of, the Course, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and explain the nature of the change.
Where required by law, you may have rights to end the contract or receive an appropriate remedy.

This does not affect any rights or remedies available to you by law.
